From 2008: Chairman of the Organising Committee; Scientific and Practical Conference: Titanium, Production and Applications. Held: 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016

From 2017: a member of the Editorial Board for “Modern Electrometallurgy” magazine

From 2008: Managing Director of Zaporozhye Titanium Research Centre (ZNTU). The Centre has completed 12 research projects using government grants and commercial projects with turnover more than 3 million UAH

Main Scientific Directions:

— metal science of titanium and its alloys: technologies for cast and wrought alloy manufacture; investigation into metal composition, structure and properties. Study of modified titanium alloys and synthesis of alloys with elevated mechanical and exploitation properties using intensive plastic deformation;

— development of technologies for titanium sponge production including alloyed material;

— powder metallurgy: manufacture of thermo-mechanical powders, titanium hydride and article production using powder metallurgy methods;

— additive technologies. Synthesis of spherical powders using gas and centrifugal atomisation ;

— 3D printing of aircraft parts;

— development of novel aerospace materials including titanium aluminides.
