Classes of the "Young Lawyer" and "Political Leadership" groups of the Children's and Youth Scientific University

From February to April, classes were held in the “Young Lawyer” and “Political Leadership” groups of the Children and Youth Scientific University of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”.

Students of grades 9–11 of Zaporizhzhia gymnasiums No. 11 and No. 103, Zaporizhzhia Social and Humanitarian Gymnasium No. 27, Zaporizhzhia Lyceum No. 71, Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 107 did not miss a single class.

After studying, they:
– gained initial knowledge of the system of law, legal culture, legal responsibility and practical skills in analyzing legal situations, working with legal documents, language and communicative literacy and legal self-management
– mastered the content of the main political science categories such as “political system”, “government”, “political elite”, “political leadership”
– took part in the “My Party” project competition

At the solemn event, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Yuriy Filey, and the Director of the Children and Youth Scientific University, Olena Nazarova, delivered welcoming speeches. They presented the students with certificates of completion of their studies and talked about the possibilities of further study at Zaporizhia Polytechnic University.

We would like to thank the creative and proactive group leaders: Olga Shiyan, associate professor of the Department of Criminal, Civil and International Law, and Vladislav Volobuyev, associate professor of the Department of Political Science and General Legal Disciplines, for their professional approach, interesting practical tasks and inspiration for the students.

During the classes, the students analyzed legal situations based on famous fairy tales, and also participated in practical classes with forensic equipment, which made the training interesting, visual and as close to real life as possible.
