Faculty of Electrical Engineering
The mission of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is to bring light to the home of mankind
Zaporizhia region is unique in terms of generation, transmission and consumption.
Almost a third of all electrical energy is generated in Zaporizhzhia: hydroelectric power plant, thermal power plant, nuclear power plant, solar power plants, wind power plants. A large number of electrical substations and an extensive electrical network. Powerful consumers of electrical energy.
So, the electrical engineering faculty is an energy stronghold of the Zaporizhzhia region.

Department «Electricity supply of industrial enterprises»
The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy according to the educational programs of the specialty G3 «Electrical engineering». The department was founded in 1959.
Department «Electric machines»
The department prepares bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy according to the educational programs of the specialty G3 «Electrical engineering», bachelors in the specialty G4 «Energy production». The department was founded in 1959.
Department «Electric drive and automation of industrial installations»
The department prepares bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy according to the educational programs of the specialty G3 «Electrical engineering», bachelors and masters in the specialty G7 «Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics», bachelors in the specialty G12 «Aviation and rocket and space engineering». The department was founded in 1959.
Department «Electrical and electronic devices»
The department prepares bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy according to the educational programs of the specialty G3 «Electrical engineering», bachelors in the specialty G5 «Electronics, electronic communications, instrumentation and radio engineering». The year of establishment of the department is 1961.
Department «Physics»
The department provides teaching of educational disciplines from the sections of physics for engineering and technical specialties. The department was founded in 1930.
