The Museum of the History of Technical Progress of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University received grant support within the framework of the SAFE Grants project — Open Call for Ukrainian Museums
As part of initiatives to properly preserve national memory and gradually develop institutional museum work, the Museum of the History of Technical Progress of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University received grant support from the Ukrainian Museum in New York for the implementation of the project of a modern exhibition «Digital Book of Memory».
The aforementioned initiative, the implementation process of which covers the period from August to September of this year, is designed to form an updated exhibition space in which a deep tribute to the feat of Ukrainian soldiers will be harmoniously combined with digital formats for presenting historical information by purchasing and installing a specialized interactive touch panel on a mobile stand. The corresponding strengthening of the material and technical base of the complex will provide visitors with the opportunity for convenient and comprehensive interaction with digitized archival materials containing preserved biographical information and photographs of fallen heroes, thus guaranteeing a worthy recording of an important heritage.
On October 1, right before the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the museum team will present an updated interactive space during a special thematic commemorative event, which will help engage students in the study of local history and honor those who gave their lives for the independence of the state.
