Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design
The mission of the faculty is to train a highly qualified specialist and a comprehensively developed personality capable of solving complex problems in the areas of architecture, construction, design and composite materials, which are particularly important for the domestic and world economy. Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is one of the leading institutions of higher education in the Zaporizhia region, which trains specialists for state and private enterprises that will rebuild the country and develop modern architectural and design projects, as well as new composite and powder materials.
The year of establishment of the faculty is 2017.

Department «Construction production and project management»
The department trains bachelors, masters and doctors of philosophy according to the educational programs of the specialty G19 «Construction and civil engineering». The department was founded in 2014
Department «Design»
The department prepares bachelor's and master's degrees according to educational programs of specialties B2 «Design» and G17 «Architecture and urban planning». The department was founded in 2007
Department «Composite materials, chemistry and technologies»
The department prepares bachelor's and master's degrees according to the educational programs of the G8 «Materials Science» specialty. The department was founded in 1968
Department of «Labor and Environmental Protection»
The department provides teaching of educational disciplines on life safety of a specialist, civil protection and labor protection in the industry. The department was founded in 1966

History of the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design
According to the decision of the Scientific Council of ZNTU No. 2 dated 10.10.2017 and the general meeting of ZNTU dated 10.10.2017 at the initiative of ZNTU rector Professor S.B. Belikova – a new structural unit was formed within the Physical and Technical Institute – the Faculty of Construction, Architecture and Design (Dean of the Faculty Prof. E.Yu. Antipenko). The faculty includes the following departments: «Design», «Construction and Project Management», «Composite Materials, Chemistry and Technologies», «Entrepreneurship, Trade and Stock Exchange», «Labor and Environmental Protection» and «Mechanics».
Unification of these departments into a faculty is the creation of a new and progressive faculty, whose students, after graduation, will be highly qualified specialists in construction production, architecture, design and composite materials and will have modern knowledge to ensure the economic attractiveness of future architectural, construction and design products of the Zaporizhzhia region.
After optimizing the structure of the university in 2024, the faculty will include four departments:
– construction production and project management (assistant professor O.M. Nazarenko);
– design (assistant professor T.O. Pavlenko);
– composite materials, chemistry and technologies (prof. Mityaev O.A.);
– labor and environmental protection (associate professor O. V. Nesterov).
The main areas of activity of the faculty are the provision and organic combination of high-quality education and scientific work of students and employees of the faculty.
