Supervisory group for psychologists
The Psychological Service of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University invites you to participate in a supervision group for psychologists who are starting practice or seeking to deepen their understanding of the therapeutic process.
Supervision is a space for professional development, exploring one’s own practice, and finding support in working with clients.
At the meetings we will:
- consider real cases from the participants’ practice
- explore difficulties that arise in the therapeutic relationship
- learn to notice and understand the processes that occur between the psychologist and the client
- explore your own reactions, experiences and ways of being in contact
- look for new perspectives on understanding customer stories and professional challenges
Particular attention will be paid not only to what the psychologist does, but also to how he is present in contact, what he notices, experiences and how he uses his own experience in work.
– Is it necessary to have your own case for supervision?
No. You can join the group even if you are not ready to present your own case yet. The experience of other participants also becomes a valuable material for professional training, reflection and development.

Gradually, we will form a professional community in which there is a place not only for knowledge and experience, but also for doubts, difficulties and awareness of our own limitations.
A space where you can openly talk about what does not work, ask questions, explore difficult moments of practice and together look for answers — without fear of evaluation, with respect for the experience of each participant.
The leader of the supervisory group is Darina Chandoni, a Gestalt therapist accredited by EAGT (European Association of Gestalt Therapists), a crisis psychologist. Practical experience since 2014. Trainer of training programs of the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Gestalt Therapy (UISGT).
Supervision schedule: once a month for 6 months. The first supervisory group will be held on November 13
