Watching the film "Jamala's Struggle"
🎞 The Docudays UA Film Club at the Scientific Library of the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” invites you to watch the film “Djamala’s Struggle”.
To mark the Day of Struggle for the Rights of the Crimean Tatar People and the Day of Mourning and Memory of the Victims of Deportation, we will watch the work of Swedish journalist Elin Jönsson.
The film tells the tragic story of the family of singer Jamala, deported in 1944, as well as her personal struggle during her participation in Eurovision 2016. This is a story about the power of voice, memory, cultural diplomacy and the fight for the right to be heard in the world.
