Guest online lecture "Resilience as a biopsychosocial phenomenon"
The Department of Psychology invites everyone to a guest online lecture “Resilience as a Biopsychosocial Phenomenon”!
Guest speaker – Margarita Starchenko – psychologist, graduate and stakeholder of the department.
Resilience is a complex phenomenon, which in modern psychology is defined as a person’s ability to adapt to adverse circumstances or as a multisystem process of such adaptation. Resilience develops under the influence of many factors, which can be divided into biological (genetics, lifestyle), psychological (emotional regulation, meaning of life) and social. At the lecture, we will consider the diversity of these driving forces, as well as find out which of them psychological interventions can be aimed at.
The guest lecture will be held in an online format as part of the study of the first-year psychology master’s degree students in the academic discipline “Psychological Assistance in Emergency Situations”.
