Guest meeting with psychologist of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Ilya Borodovka

The Department of Psychology of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University invites everyone to a guest meeting-dialogue with the psychologist of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Ilya Borodovka (psychologist, head of the psychological support department of the Center for Supporting the Activities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region, major of the civil protection service).

The guest meeting will take place in an online format as part of the study of the first-year psychology master’s students of the academic discipline “Psychological Assistance in Emergency Situations”.

A dialogue is planned with an experienced psychologist of the State Emergency Service, who has been helping victims of Russian shelling, as well as their relatives, cope with pain and stress for many years of the dead.

Ilya Borodovko is one of the first to arrive at the sites of Russian strikes to support the victims. So psychology students will be able to learn about the specifics and complexities of a psychologist’s work after shelling directly from a practitioner in this field.
