Congratulations to the winners of the All-Ukrainian Online Hackathon “Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics”!

On April 21, the All-Ukrainian Online Hackathon “Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics” was held at the Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies to mark the 60th anniversary of Lutsk National Technical University.

11 teams from 5 educational institutions took part in the competition, including two teams from Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University. Our participants were prepared by Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Installations Yuriy Krysan and Senior Lecturer of the same department Mykhailo Zaluzhny.

For three hours, Mykyta Pavlov (E–312), Oleksiy Titarenko (E–613), Oleksiy Ryabchuk (E–613) and Anna Kiryunina (E–612) developed a circuit based on the Arduino UNO microcontroller: they designed the connection of components, wrote the program code and ran the simulation directly in the browser.

According to the results of the competition, our students Oleksiy Ryabchuk and Oleksiy Titarenko became the absolute champions: they took first place!
