Closing ceremony of the Complex Sports Event “Applicant-2026”

On March 28, the final stage of the Complex Sports Event “Applicant-2026 NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”” – a futsal competition – took place in the sports complex of the NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” – a competition in futsal. 6 teams took part in the competition, demonstrating a high level of training, team cohesion, perseverance and true sportsmanship.

The rector of the NU “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” Viktor Greshta addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, congratulating the applicants, wishing them new achievements, self-confidence and a successful professional future. They were also congratulated by the head of the organizing committee of the competition, dean of the faculty of physical culture and sports management Svitlana Kokareva.

During the solemn part, Viktor Greshta presented certificates of gratitude to the teams of all participating institutions, as well as personally to the physical culture leaders who prepared the teams for participation in the competitions.

As a result of the fierce competition, the following won the prizes in the futsal competitions:
– 1st place – Zaporizhia College of Economics and Law
– 2nd place – Zaporizhia Electrotechnical Vocational College
– 3rd place – Petropil Lyceum

All teams received memorable prizes, and the winning team was awarded the main trophy of the competition – the “Applicant-2026” cup.

Applicant-2026 is an important platform for communication, uniting young people, popularizing sports, and introducing future applicants to the opportunities of Zaporizhia Polytechnic.
