Meeting of the rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Greshta, with the leadership of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Zaporizhia region

On December 23, a working meeting of the rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Greshta, with the leadership of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Zaporizhia region took place. The main topic of discussion was the practical implementation of cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum recently signed between the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the university.

The rector emphasized that the partnership with the State Tax Service opens up new opportunities for professional growth for students. Direct access to the practical experience of State Tax Service specialists, understanding of the real challenges of the industry and modern management solutions increase the competitiveness of university graduates.

The head of the regional tax service, Oksana Fedorova, emphasized that participation in the training of young specialists for the public sector is one of the key priorities of the State Tax Service.

During the meeting, the parties outlined key areas of further interaction:
– updating educational programs with the involvement of State Tax Service specialists in reviewing curricula and filling disciplines with relevant practical content
– organizing educational and pre-graduate internships for students based on tax authorities with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the real work of the service
– holding joint workshops, trainings and round tables with the participation of teachers, students and specialists DPS

Special attention was paid to the scientific component of cooperation. We agreed to work together on initiatives to improve tax legislation and participate in international projects.

The joint lectures, meetings and excursions that have already taken place have demonstrated high efficiency: live communication with students contributes to the formation of motivated and professional tax specialists. Such a partnership is an important step towards training a modern, responsible generation of specialists capable of working effectively for the development of the state.
