The EnInhub team of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University visited the Energy Innovation Hub of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (Sikorsky Energy Innovation Hub)

On May 13, the team of the Energy Innovation Hub of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic University visited the Energy Innovation Hub of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (Sikorsky Energy Innovation Hub). The delegation included Vice-Rector Andriy Ivanchenko, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering Mykola Antonov, EnInHub Manager Dmytro Shcherbinina, and Administrator Liliya Bilozub.

The EnInHub team of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was headed by Olena Shevchenko. She was pleased to present the activities of the Hub, established in February 2024 as a modern scientific and educational center for the decarbonization of the energy sector. The Hub’s goal is to unite educational, scientific, and innovative resources to increase energy efficiency. This is a platform for training, demonstration of the latest technologies and cooperation between business and the university.

We inspected the renovated premises of the EnInHub KPI – a separate two-story building with modern equipment and design, which is planned to be solemnly opened for new projects in the near future.

We also got acquainted with the results of cooperation with business – branded and equipped with the latest equipment classrooms of the Department of Thermal and Alternative Energy and the Department of Power Supply of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute: Viesmann, DTEK, Vaillant, Bosch, Danfoss, RSE, E-Next.

During the meeting, the parties reached agreements on the intentions of joint implementation of projects. Combining our efforts and resources opens up more opportunities to achieve significant results in the field of energy innovation!
