Development of cooperation with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (P. PORTO)

On June 3, representatives of Zaporizhia Polytechnic met with colleagues from the School of Management and Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto (ESTG P. PORTO) –  President ESTG, Professor Luis Lima and Vice-President ESTG, Head of the Department of Internationalization and Research Cooperation, Professor Marisa Ferreira.

Led by Rector Viktor Greshta, Zaporizhia Polytechnic was represented by Head of the Center for Internationalization and International Cooperation Alina Kazurova, Head of the Project Activity Department Mariya Pavlenko, and Director of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University “Zaporizha” Polytechnic Institute” Olena Nazarova.

The Rector Viktor Greshta and President Luis Lima delivered welcoming remarks. During the speeches, the importance of expanding educational and scientific cooperation was emphasized.

The participants presented their educational institutions and their main areas of activity. Potential partnerships were discussed: joint scientific projects, academic mobility, in particular in the fields of management and business, law, logistics and transport, cybersecurity, information technologies, industrial engineering. We agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation and hold a series of further meetings in specific areas.

Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University is already successfully cooperating with the School of Engineering (ISEP). We are confident that building new ties with the School of Management and Technology (ESTG) will strengthen our friendship with the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
