Results of the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year 2026”

The 1st round of the All-Ukrainian competition “Teacher of the Year 2026” in the nomination “English” in the Zaporizhia region has ended. 22 teachers from Zaporizhzhia region registered to participate in the Competition.

English teachers from the following secondary education institutions in Zaporizhzhia region competed in the final:
– Yulia Bila, Bilenkiv Lyceum “Leader”
– Iryna Lutsova, Zaporizhzhia Gymnasium No. 11
– Oksana Overchenko, Zaporizhzhia Comprehensive School of I–III Degrees No. 88

The finalists were congratulated by the vice-rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic Andriy Ivanchenko, the head of the jury Nataliya Zhukova, the director of the Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum Dmytro Koshel and the deputy head of the jury Larisa Strylets.

The regional round was won by Iryna Lutsova, who will represent Zaporizhzhia region at the all-Ukrainian level of the Competition. Congratulations on your victory!

– Olga Nesterova — Foreign Language Teacher (French/English) of Zaporizhia Lyceum No. 71
– Inna Pokusa — Director, English Teacher of Melitopol Gymnasium No. 23 
– Yuriy Polezhaev — Head of the Cycle Commission “Tourism, Information Technologies and Foreign languages” of our Zaporizhzhia Humanitarian Vocational College, English teacher of Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 93

Offline tests were held at Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 107, the team of which, headed by director Dmytro Koshel, provided comfortable conditions for the successful holding of the final of the Competition.
