Memorandum of Cooperation with the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service

On September 30, the rector of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta signed a memorandum of cooperation with the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service. The department was represented by the head of the inspection department in the Zaporizhia region of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service, Andriy Adamchuk, and the head of the department for ensuring the activities of the inspection department in the Zaporizhia region of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service, Oleksandra Novoselova.

The activities of the South-Eastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service are related to the areas that are researched by scientists at the Polytechnic and are of interest to our students who are preparing to build a safe career:
– market supervision
– occupational safety
– labor relations
– occupational hygiene and workplace certification
– psychosocial support

In the spring, representatives The Southeastern Interregional Department of the State Labor Service has already held an introductory webinar for our students, where they talked about the peculiarities of employment and registration of labor relations, the Labor Code of Ukraine, the process of dismissal from work, important working conditions, the danger of labor slavery and human trafficking.
