Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University won the results of the All-Ukrainian Student Distance Olympiad!
On April 7-8, the All-Ukrainian Student Distance Olympiad in the specialization “Electrotechnical systems of electricity consumption” was held on the basis of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University.
The head of the organizing committee, rector Viktor Greshta, dean of the electrical engineering faculty Mykola Antonov and head of the department of power supply of industrial enterprises Oleksandr Shram made a welcome speech at the solemn opening ceremony of the Olympiad for the 125th anniversary of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic. Consultation on organizational issues was provided by Dmytro Kulagin, who is responsible for conducting the Olympiad and is a professor of the Department of Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises.
National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic” became the base institution for the 2nd round of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad specializing in “Electrotechnical Systems of Power Consumption” back in 2016 and is glad to continue the tradition and welcome the Olympiad participants now in a remote format.
This year, more than 50 students from more than 20 institutions of higher education took part in the Olympiad. The jury and appeal commission included our colleagues from NTUU “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Ihor Sikorsky”, NU “Poltava Polytechnic named after Yury Kondratyuk”, NTU “Dniprovska Polytechnic” and the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine and others.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the winner of the second place of the Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic was won by a student of the E-512 group Vladyslav Dvornikov, who was trained by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Dmytro Kulagin. Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University took an honorable third place in the team competition.
