– relevance in wartime, because PTSD is one of the most common problems that specialists will have to work with over the next 10+ years
– an integrative approach that combines consideration of various approaches and techniques in working with PTSD – CBT, EMDR, body-oriented work, neurobiology, somatic techniques, art therapy, pharmacotherapy and ImTT protocol, as well as biofitback
– work with military personnel, civilians and their families — we will build therapy strategies for different types of trauma: from combat to personal losses
– we will start with theory: studying crisis protocols and checklists, and then — maximum practice: role-playing games, analysis of real cases, crisis modeling, as well as working with dissociation, bodily reactions, flashbacks, triggers, amnesia
– the course is designed for specialists of various levels: psychologists, psychotherapists, doctors, veterans’ hub workers and crisis consultants
Course leader: Hanna Miroshnychenko — psychologist, certified EMDR specialist, member of the European EMDRIA association, specialist in ImTT therapy and coherent therapy, group psychotherapist. The lecturer has practical experience working with veterans, worked as part of mobile brigades, and also participated in evacuation from the combat zone.
