All-Ukrainian webinar “Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects”

On March 24, the All-Ukrainian webinar “Academic Integrity: Challenges, Problems and Prospects” was held, which brought together representatives of higher education institutions, state authorities and the expert community. The event was held with the support of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service and the National Agency for Corruption Prevention.

The event was solemnly opened by the rector of the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” Viktor Greshta. Yulia Hryshyna, head of the subcommittee on higher education; Natalia Alyushyna, head of the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service; Andriy Butenko, Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.

Contentious reports were presented by: Nataliya Alyushina, Head of the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service; Volodymyr Bakhrushyn, Head of the Academic Council of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, Coordinator of the Higher Education Sector of the National Research and Development Agency of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Member of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform; Yevhen Nikolayev, Deputy Director of the Non-Governmental Institution “Teaching Academy” of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University; Hanna Ostapenko, Co-Founder of the NGO “Progressives”; Inna Savytska, Expert of the Integrity Office of the National Agency for Corruption Prevention; Artem Artyukhov, Member of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Head of the Ethics Committee of the National Agency; Ivan Nazarov, Deputy Head of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. In their speeches, they emphasized the current issues of developing academic integrity, the introduction of new regulatory approaches, practical aspects of their implementation in the educational process, as well as the challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence.

The webinar became not only a platform for professional dialogue, but also a space for exchanging ideas, experience and visions of the future of education. We thank all the speakers for their thorough presentations, and the participants for their activity and interest.
