Visit of representatives of the National Committee of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic University to the K. D. Ushynskyi National University: new opportunities for cooperation

At the end of October, representatives of the National Contact Point “Horizon Europe” at Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University – head Dmytro Pavlenko and leading specialist Myroslava Shchedinina – visited the Southern Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky in Odesa to intensify scientific cooperation.

NKP plays a key role in supporting Ukrainian scientists to participate in European grant programs. The main tasks include informing about competitions, consultations on the preparation of applications, organizing workshops and improving the competence of university teams.

During the visit, meetings were held with the administration, teachers and young scientists of the university. The practical aspects of preparing project applications for 2026, the mechanisms of forming consortia, criteria for evaluating proposals and typical mistakes during the preparation of documents were discussed. Special attention was paid to opportunities for young researchers: individual grants, mobility programs and internships in European centers.

The first steps were taken to expand the international cooperation of K. D. Ushinskyi PNPU. Its active community is ready to take an active part in European research initiatives within the framework of Ukraine’s integration into the European educational and scientific space.
