Visit to the East Bavarian Technical University Amberg-Weiden

In July 2025, the head of the department of foundry machinery and technology Valery Ivanov visited Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTN АW) by invitation, where he got acquainted with the infrastructure, educational and scientific activities of our long-standing and reliable international partner. 

Four faculties of OTN AW offer a wide range of relevant educational programs in the field of energy and ecology, engineering, business, informatics and media, health care and education.

During the visit, thanks to the efforts of our employees, doctors of science, professors Dmytro and Kateryna Antonyukiv, there was an opportunity to become closely acquainted with the directions of research at OTN AW:
?development of networked, efficient and resource-saving production systems
?their digital transformation
?material technology
?production automation
?application of artificial intelligence in production processes

According to the results of the visit, details of cooperation and prospects for joint educational and research projects were outlined.

? Starting next year, with the support of the DAAD, within the framework of the “German-Ukrainian University Network” program, a new double degree project TANDEM-UA-DE (Teaching and Administration Network for Double Degree Education and Mobility — Ukraine and Germany) will be implemented with the participation of OTN AW and 6 Ukrainian universities: https://zp.edu.ua/tandem-ua-de-novyy-proyekt-z-nadiynymy-partneramy
