Congratulations to the winners of the Business Ideas Competition "STARTUP with Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic" - 2025!

On April 28, the grand finale of the III Business Ideas Competition “STARTUP with Zaporizhia Polytechnic” took place, which this year is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the National University “Zaporizhia Polytechnic”.

University students and graduates, college students and schoolchildren took part. More than 40 business ideas were registered for the competition, more than 70 people received certificates of completion of training from the Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC).

12 business ideas successfully passed the qualifying stage to be presented in the final before experts. The expert commission included representatives of the partner companies of the competition: the Ukrainian National Office of Intellectual Property and Innovation (UKRNOIVI), JSC Motor Sich, the Center for Support of Public Initiatives Vilni UA, Zaporizhzhia Cluster Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering, Zaporizhzhia Regional Federation of Employers, ZOSPPR “Potential”, Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Noosphere Engineering School, Credit Agricole Bank, Network of Technology and Innovation Support Centers, National Hub of Intellectual Property and Innovation, PJSC Zaporizhstal, LLC ALD ENGINEERING AND CONSTRUCTION and others.

The finalists and guests were greeted by the rector of the university Viktor Greshta, vice-rector Andriy Ivanchenko and deputy director of UKRNOIVI Ihor Parenchuk.

12 teams successfully presented their prepared business ideas, learned the opinions of experts and talked about the further development of their developments:
— 3-T (innovative tactical cart for transporting goods)
— AirSunBoost (a project to increase the efficiency of solar power plants)
— Beauty Drive (a hair salon on wheels)
— CNC_Tech (software with integrated AI for analyzing 3D models)
— Digital Dreamers (an innovative GPS case for a smartphone)
— EnergyHub+ (an autonomous coworking center with alternative energy sources)
— FitHome (a fitness ecosystem using AI)
— Gatitos (an innovative coworking where you can work with your pets)
— NeonBrains (a comprehensive solution for your business)
— PolyDuo (smart assistant for people with visual impairments)
— Children’s Polytechnic (educational and scientific student activities to solve the problem of lack of practical skills and limited access to modern technologies in school education)
— MO (military board game for improving leadership qualities)

Business communication continued during a relaxed coffee break, while the final scores were being calculated and voting continued to determine the winner in the “Audience Award” nomination.

Pro-Rector Vadym Shalomeyev, Head of TISC of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, were invited to celebrate the finalists, announce and award the winners Natalia Vysotska, Director of the Educational Center “Education for Business and Career” Anastasia Zerkal and Head of the Scientific Society of Students, Postgraduates, Doctoral Students, Young Scientists and Specialists of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” Serhiy Leoshchenko.

1st place – “CNC_Tech”: Ivan Bushman, Timofiy Grechany and Oleg Savchenko
2nd place – “3-T” team: Timofiy Panarin, Yaroslav Shefer, Volodymyr Osadchy
3rd place – “AirSunBoost” team: Zakhar Lytvynenko

The Audience Award went to the “Beauty Drive” team consisting of Dan Dulida and Olena Borisenko.

The winners were awarded with nice prizes from the student trade union and bonuses. They will also receive free consultation from the head of the Center for Technology and Innovation Support of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Natalia Vysotskaya.

The finalists were also awarded in special nominations from the competition partners:
— Vice President of the Zaporizhzhia Chamber of Commerce and Industry Andriy Kuts recognized the winner in the special nomination of the ZCCI — the team “Neon Brains” consisting of Diana Dementieva, Anastasia Morya and Iryna Nechaeva.

— Head of the Personnel Motivation Department of JSC “Motor Sich” Dmitry Gradinarov and Head of the Personnel Training and Development Department of JSC “Motor Sich” Alena Gavrylenko named the winners in the special nomination from JSC “Motor Sich”. These are the teams “CNC_Tech”, “AirSunBoost” and “Young Officer” consisting of Mykhailo Ilchenko, Valeria Siroa and Rodion Sevastyanov.
— Senior Manager of the Operational Improvement Department of PJSC “Zaporizhstal” Oleksandr Mishyn and Head of the Personnel Selection, Recruitment and Development Department Serhiy Koypish recognized the winners in their special nomination. “CNC_Tech” and “AirSunBoost” won, Ivan Bushman, Timofey Grechany, Oleg Savchenko and Zakhar Lytvynenko were awarded personal diplomas.
— Deputy Director of the enterprise for scientific work, Head of the experimental and testing complex of the State Enterprise “Ivchenko-Progress” Yuriy Torba and Deputy Director for Personnel, Infrastructure and Social Issues Vitaly Nesmashny determined the winner in the special nomination from the State Enterprise “Ivchenko-Progress”. The team was “FitHome” consisting of Mark Kovalenko and Grigory Botvinov.
— Director of the Zaporizhzhia cluster “Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering” Andriy Karpenko also noted the winners in the special nomination. These are the teams “CNC_Tech”, “AirSunBoost” and “3-T”.
— Head of the Central Branch of JSC “Credit Agricole Bank” in Zaporizhzhia Taras Karlenko and Head of the Third Branch of JSC “Credit Agricole Bank” in Zaporizhzhia Olga Lobur determined the winners in the special nomination of Credit Agricole Bank. These are the teams “AirSunBoost”, “3-T” and “Young Officer”.
— Head of the Noosphere Engineering School of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Oleksiy Shevchenko announced his special nomination and, for his part, supported the winners – the “AirSunBoost” and “CNC_Tech” teams.
