IV Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Physical Culture and Sports: Traditions, Experience, Innovations”
On March 12, the 4th Scientific and Practical Conference with International Participation “Physical Culture and Sports: Traditions, Experience, Innovations” was held at the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management.
This year’s conference brought together more than 50 scientists, teachers, young researchers, postgraduates and students from various higher education institutions in Ukraine and abroad. The conference was co-organized by leading educational and scientific institutions, including the Kazakh National University of Sports, the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture, the Ukrainian Humanitarian Institute, the University of Ostrava (Czech Republic) and other partners.
The following welcomed the participants: Rector of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Viktor Greshta, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management Svitlana Kokareva, Vice-Rector for Digitalization of the Kazakh National University of Sports Serhiy Bronin, Head of the Department of Fitness and Recreation of the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture – Lyubov Chekhovska, and Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports Management of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University Vasyl Mazin. They emphasized the importance of developing modern sports science, introducing innovative technologies in physical education, and enhancing international cooperation between universities.
The conference covered a wide range of current scientific problems in the field of physical education and sports. The discussion took place in the following main areas:
– innovative technologies in physical education of different segments of the population
– professional, Olympic and Paralympic sports
– theoretical and methodological foundations of professional training of physical education specialists
– adaptive physical culture, physical rehabilitation, occupational therapy and kinesiotherapy
Representatives of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”, Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture, the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine, and the National University “Chernihiv Collegium” named after T. G. Shevchenko shared their scientific achievements.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is an important center for the development of scientific research in in the field of physical culture, sports and healthy lifestyle, as well as an effective platform for the exchange of experience between scientists, practitioners and young researchers.
A collection of scientific materials is planned to be published based on the results of the conference.
