Horizon Europe grant opportunities: results of the information event
On October 17, the National Contact Point “Research Infrastructures”, which operates on the basis of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic, held an online event dedicated to the possibilities of the “Horizon Europe” program. The meeting was attended by representatives of universities, scientific institutions and businesses.
The head of the NCP, Dmytro Pavlenko, presented the statistics of Ukraine’s participation in the program: in recent years, Ukrainian organizations have received 62.55 million euros of funding. This is 28% more than the previous program! Ukraine took 6th place among the associated countries – a good result, especially in the conditions of war.
The program of the event included three key blocks. Natalya Solidor, a leading specialist of the NCP, presented the road map of competitions for the year 2026 for the development of research infrastructures. Myroslava Shchedinina, a leading specialist of the NCP, spoke about the relevant “Horizon Europe” competitions with an emphasis on the research potential of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic. And Maria Pavlenko, head of the project department, explained in detail the procedure for creating an application and finding partners — from the first idea to a successful submission.
In the coming years, an increase in funding is expected with a focus on innovation for the recovery of Ukraine. The national contact point and the project department of the university help at all stages — from the idea to the submission of an application.
