Visit to Israel
From November 2 to 7, 2019, a delegation of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University visited partner universities in Israel under the international project of the European Union “Innovative multidisciplinary educational program on artificial implants for bioengineering for bachelors and masters” (BIOART, Ref. No. 586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP).
The delegation of NU “Zaporizka Polytechnic” included: rector, doctor of technical sciences, prof. S.B. Belikov, head café software tools, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. S.O. Subbotin, project coordinator from Ukraine, prof. café software tools, Ph.D., associate professor G.V. Herdsman.
During the visit, the Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic NU delegation took part in numerous events organized by Israeli partners.
During the visit to the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT), the Rector of the HIT E. Yakubov and the Rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University S.B. met. Belikova, the delegation took part in the International Days of HIT and the conference dedicated to the 500th anniversary of L. da Vinci, visited the laboratories of HIT, established new and expanded existing contacts with colleagues from Israeli, Ukrainian and European universities who participated in the international days of HIT.
S. Shamon College of Engineering (Ashdod) ensured special meetings of BIOART project partners, in particular with a representative of the Israeli national Erasmus+ office during the monitoring of Israeli partners, a meeting of the rectors of the Vinnytsia National Technical University V. Grabko, the Donbas State Machine-Building Academy V. Kovalev and the rector of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University S. Belikov with the president College by Y. Haddad, presentation and discussion of current activities and implementation plans of the BIOART project.
The organizers also offered the participants an interesting cultural program, which ended with a solemn official reception on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of HIT at the Sh. Peres Center for Peace and Innovation (Tel Aviv-Yaffa).
