ZNTU employees participated in the training on the “BIOART” project at the Krakow University of Technology (Poland)
From June 25 to 29, 2018, the Krakow Technical University (Krakow, Poland) hosted a training for teachers as part of the international project BIOART “Innovative Multidisciplinary Curriculum in Artificial Implants for Bio-Engineering BSc/MSc Degrees” (586114-EPP-1-2017-1-ES-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP) under the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
Among the employees of ZNTU, the following took part in the training: the head of the department of RT, Ph.D., Assoc. Morshchavka S.V., head of the Department of NGiKG, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. V.A. Shalomeev, graduate student of the FM Aikin M.D.
departmentThe organizers presented reports on the following topics:
– current state of microprocessor technology for biomedical embedded systems;
– features of materials for biomedical use;
– application of 3D printing for medicine;
– computer modeling of multifunctional models in biomechanical engineering;
– nanostructures and nanocapsules.
For the participants of the training, the teachers of the Technical University of Krakow conducted a laboratory workshop in the following areas: bio-ceramics, biomedical materials and 3D printing for biomedical use. Also, the participants were given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the educational literature and scientific works of the employees of the Krakow Technical University
During the training, issues related to the development of training programs, procurement of equipment for project implementation, distribution and publication of project materials and cooperation were discussed.
