Winter school 2021 within the WORK4CE project
The WORK4CE Erasmus+ project team continues to actively implement the planned activities and project activities.
The team of the WORK4CE project from Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University – project coordinator Prof. G.V. Tabunshchik, Dean of the Faculty of Transport, Prof. Kuzkin O.F., head Department «Software» prof. S.O. Subbotin, head of the Center I and MC, Assoc. Plynokos D.D., Assoc. café «Software» – Kaplienko T.I. participated in the Winter School 2021 for university teachers, coaches and academic staff.
Education took place on the basis of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund (Germany).
The topic of trainings and education was aimed at studying the project management methodology – Agile, in addition, the tools of effective interaction in project activities were considered, in particular such programs as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, the creation of a joint project environment OpenCoPs.
Practical work during the training was focused on studying and improving the skills of working with software products, creating an effective team, and implementing a mini-project.
Representatives of various universities from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Norway, Spain, and Palestine participated in the winter school. Among the participants of the international school were representatives of many universities of Ukraine, in particular the West Ukrainian National University in Ternopil, the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, representatives of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University participating in the Erasmus+ program, in particular O. O. Kaplienko, N. O. Myronova, S. S. Samoilyk, G. V. Zasorina. and others.
Participants worked in teams that had to work out the team’s strategy, the roles of the participants and complete the project. At the end of the academic week, a presentation of the projects of each team took place.
In addition, issues of further implementation of the WORK4CE project were discussed during the Winter School, in particular, the creation of educational modules, the introduction of modules into the educational process at universities. Project coordinator Prof. Tabunshchik G.V. and head Department of PZ Subbotin S.O. discussed with the partners of the university the implementation of the double diploma program between Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund (Germany) and worked out a plan of specific measures for the implementation of double diplomas.
Coordinated work on the project made it possible to complete project tasks and gain practical skills in project management, the possibility of implementing software tools and tools in the work of organizations.
During the visit, the possibility of bilateral agreements on improving the qualifications of teachers and employees at other universities, exchange of teachers and students, and joint scientific research were discussed.
In general, participation in the 2021 winter school as part of the Erasmus+ WORK4CE project allows us to expand the range of international activities of our university and to provide university teachers, specialists and postgraduate students with the necessary competencies for cooperation in a global educational environment.
