Winter School 2021 within the framework of the WORK4CE project
The WORK4CE Erasmus+ project team continues to actively implement planned events and project activities.
The WORK4CE project team from the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University – project coordinator Prof. Tabunshchyk G.V., Dean of the Faculty of Transport Prof. Kuzkin O.F., Head of the Software Department Prof. Subbotin S.O., Head of the Center I and MS Assoc. Prof. Plynokos D.D., Assoc. Prof. of the Software Department – Kaplienko T.I. participated in the Winter School 2021 for university teachers, trainers and academic staff.
The training took place at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund (Germany).
The topics of the training and education were aimed at studying the project management methodology – Agile, in addition, tools for effective interaction in project activities were considered, in particular such programs as Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, and the creation of a joint project environment OpenCoPs.
Practical work during the training was focused on studying and improving skills in working with software products, creating an effective team, and implementing mini-project.
The winter school was attended by representatives of various universities from Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Lithuania, Norway, Spain, Palestine. Among the participants of the international school were representatives of many universities of Ukraine, in particular, the West Ukrainian National University in Ternopil, the Kyiv National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University participating in the Erasmus+ program, in particular Kaplienko O.O., Mironova N.O., Samoilyk S.S., Zasorina G.V. and others.
The participants worked in teams that had to work out the team strategy, the roles of the participants and complete the project. At the end of the school week, each team presented its projects.
In addition, during the Winter School, issues of further implementation of the WORK4CE project were discussed, in particular the creation of training modules, the introduction of modules into the educational process at universities. Project coordinator Prof. Tabunshchyk G.V. and head of the Department of Software Engineering Subbotin S.O. discussed with university partners the implementation of the double diploma program between the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund (Germany) and worked out a plan of specific measures for the implementation of double diplomas.
Coordinated work on the project made it possible to complete the project tasks and gain practical skills in project management, the possibility of implementing software and tools in the work of organizations.
During the visit, the possibility of bilateral agreements on advanced training of teachers and staff at other universities, exchange of teachers and students, joint scientific research was discussed.
In general, participation in the 2021 Winter School within the framework of Erasmus+ WORK4CE project allows us to expand the range of international activities of our university and provide teachers, specialists and postgraduate students of the university with the necessary competencies for cooperation in a global educational environment.
