Meeting with the Representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights in Zaporizhzhia region
On October 21, a meeting took place between the student ombudsman of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Yevhen Narkevych and Mykhailo Volkov, Representative of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region.
During the meeting, they discussed current issues of human rights protection, respect for students’ rights, the powers of the student ombudsman, and mechanisms for responding to violations of rights in the educational environment.
The event was attended by university and college students, including elected college student ombudsmen. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions, share ideas, and discuss situations that students may encounter.
