Selection of candidates for academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred students of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic University

We invite you to participate in the selection of candidates for academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred for students of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University studying in the following specialties:

• Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy
• Economics
• Architecture and Urban Planning
• Software Engineering
• Psychology

A candidate for a scholarship may be a student who, with his/her active civic position, affirms the ideals and values ​​of the Revolution of Dignity.
The selection of candidates for the award of scholarships is carried out based on the results of the first semester control of the academic year preceding the year of their appointment, from among students who have achieved significant success in their studies and/or scientific, public, sports (creative) activities and have received the right to an academic scholarship, occupy ranking positions within the first 10 percent of the ranking (or are the first in rankings that include no more than 10 higher education applicants), according to which academic scholarships are assigned and paid in the relevant higher education institution scholarships.

A candidate for a scholarship must submit the following documents:

1. A cover letter signed by the head of the higher education institution.
2. A decision (extract from the decision) of the highest body of student self-government (if necessary, an online conference). It is accompanied by materials confirming the student’s active public position, which contributes to:

• the establishment of a democratic and legal state, the development of the principles of democracy, justice and equality in the educational institution and in society;
• students’ awareness of the values ​​of a civil (free democratic) society, the rule of law, human and citizen rights and freedoms;
• the affirmation and protection of human and citizen rights and freedoms, other democratic values ​​and freedoms.

1. A motivation letter with the mandatory indication of the applicant’s phone number.
2. Identification documents (copies).
3. Excerpt from the decision of the scholarship committee, confirming his right to be awarded an academic scholarship.
4. Materials confirming successes and achievements.

Scholarships are paid by higher education institutions monthly at the place of study of the scholarship holder during the academic year, starting from September 1, subject to confirmation of the candidate’s right to an academic scholarship based on the results of the second semester control of the academic year preceding the year of its appointment:

• students – from the funds provided in the general fund of the higher education institution’s budget for the payment of academic scholarships, in the amount established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

In order to process and submit documents on time, the university asks candidates for academic scholarships named after the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred to submit documents by June 24, 2025 inclusive.
