Day of Defenders of Ukraine
On October 1, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Defenders of Ukraine — a holiday of courage, honor and devotion. The holiday of those who every day stand in defense of our state, its freedom and independence.
This day has a deep connection with our history. We remember generations of Ukrainians who, at the cost of their own lives, fought for freedom and the right to live on their land, and we honor those who continue this struggle today. During a full-scale war, the words «freedom», «independence» and «Motherland» acquire special meaning, because behind each of them is the courage, sacrifice and life of our defenders.
On this day, we bow before the feat of servicemen, veterans, defenders of Ukraine, who risk their own lives every day for the sake of our freedom, the safety of their families and the future of the state.
Dear defenders!
Please accept our sincere gratitude and respect for your courage, resilience and devotion to Ukraine. We wish you good health, endurance, wisdom in every decision and strength to complete the most difficult tasks. May victory over the enemy come as soon as possible, and may life bring you and your family many happy years.
Eternal memory to those who gave their lives for Ukraine. A low bow to the families of the fallen Heroes who shared with them the price of the struggle for freedom.
