Polytechnic students successfully completed an international internship in Germany
From April 28 to May 9, students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Zaporizhia Polytechnic University underwent practical training at the University of Applied Sciences in Offenburg, Germany. The internship took place within the framework of the international project “MA-Labs4UA”, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD.
The program included:
- work in modern laboratories of the university, where participants gained practical experience with advanced equipment
- excursions to leading industrial enterprises in the region, which allowed students to get acquainted with modern production processes
- colloquium, where participants presented the results of laboratory work and received international certificates
- informal meetings with the university administration, which contributed to the establishment of warm interpersonal relations
Accommodation was organized in the PathfinderHome scout house. Independent organization of life developed self-organization and teamwork skills in young people. A cultural program was also planned, which included excursions and bike rides to various cities in the region. Participants even visited the French city of Strasbourg.
For most students, this was their first experience of studying abroad, which significantly increased their motivation for professional development!
