Photo exhibition "Faces of Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic: photo history"
In November 2025, Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University will celebrate its 125th anniversary, which will be dedicated to the photo exhibition “Faces of Zaporizhia Polytechnic: Photo History”.
Our common history from the first steps (mechanical and technical school) to modern times (polytechnic university) is engraved in photographs.
So we invite the entire university community: send your archival and contemporary photos for a photo exhibition to present the history of your department, faculty or any other structural unit in a dignified and large scale.
Each department can send up to 30 photos: choose the best moments — portrait photos (individual or group), taken in a reportage style, dynamic, emotional, bright.
Priority formats:
- Archive footage: scan or rephotograph (we can help make a high-quality copy if needed, contact the organizers)
- Variety: the educational process (photos from classes, production processes, from practice within the walls of the university), science (photos from conferences, symposiums, seminars at our university), leisure and sports (hiking, games, competitions, Saturdays), student self-government and other types of activities at the university
- Modern realities — military service, volunteering, public initiatives
Requirements for photos:
— digital photo (or photocopy of archival photos) must be at least 1 MB (or 1.9 MP; minimum number of pixels 1700×2200); to check the dimensions of your photo on a mobile phone, search for “…” (three dots), “details”, “file information”
– number the photos, send a descriptive text to each photo in the format “Who (pictured)?” What (what event is depicted)? Where (where is it happening)? When?”
— you can bring old photos to the Department of Journalism (4th building, 4th floor, room 483-А): we will digitize and return
Deadline for submission of photos: until July 1, 2025.
