Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic in the network of start-up schools — incubators — accelerators of Ukraine!
On May 23, representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic took part in an official meeting on the occasion of the launch of the all-Ukrainian network of start-up schools – incubators – accelerators. The university was presented by: Dmytro Kozak, a senior lecturer at the Department of Machine Parts and Lifting and Transport Mechanisms, Valeriya Syra, a student at the Electrical Engineering Faculty (E-111), and Snizhana Vychuzhanina, the head of the student research department.
Zaporizka Polytechnic University was selected for the network by the Innovation Development Council of the Ministry of Education and Culture as an institution with the desire to promote the development of the innovation ecosystem and the formation of new entrepreneurial ideas.
Participation in the network will provide university startups with access to financial, consulting, information, communication and educational services. This will promote the use and commercialization of scientific and technical developments, as well as help support the creation, implementation and promotion of innovative products.
Participants were welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Denis Kurbatov, and representatives of the Innovation Development Fund, who presented the vision and next steps in the development of the network.
During the event, participants of the startup movement could personally communicate with the teams of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Innovation Development Fund, as well as take part in special educational and networking activities for the development of startup culture in Ukraine.
The initiative is implemented within the experimental project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in cooperation with the Innovation Development Fund.
