Three-day «Mass Casualty Management Training»
On March 21-23, representatives of the British humanitarian medical organization «UK-Med Ukraine» held a three-day «Mass Casualty Management Training» for medical workers in the Zaporizhzhia region at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The training was an important part of training medical professionals to effectively manage a large number of casualties during emergencies.
Medical workers learned:
- systematically triage and prioritize victims
- effectively use available resources
- distribute roles in a medical institution for better coordination and a clear understanding of the responsibilities of leaders
- create effective systems communications
- collect relevant data that may be important for analysis, and generate reports based on them, etc.

On March 21-23 at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University representatives of the British humanitarian medical organization «UK-Med Ukraine» held a three-day «Training on managing situations with a large number of victims» for medical workers of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The training was an important part of preparing medical professionals to effectively manage large numbers of victims during emergencies.
Medical workers have learned how to:
- systematically sort and prioritize victims
- effectively use available resources
- distribute roles in the medical institution for better coordination and a clear understanding of the responsibilities of leaders
- create effective communication systems
- collect relevant data that may be important for analysis, and generate reports on their basis, etc
