XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference on Radio Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies
On October 20–22, the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference «Modern Problems and Achievements in the Field of Radio Engineering, Telecommunications and Information Technologies» was held at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The conference, which is traditionally held every two years, brought together over 300 participants — representatives of the scientific and educational community, industrial enterprises, young scientists and higher education students. Representatives of Ukraine and six foreign countries joined the scientific event: Germany, Belgium, Spain, the USA, Malaysia and the Netherlands.
The conference program presented more than 200 scientific papers dedicated to current issues in the development of radio engineering, telecommunications, nanoelectronics, information technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, unmanned technologies and other promising engineering areas.
The conference was held in the format of a plenary session and seven thematic sections. Participants presented the results of scientific research, exchanged experiences, discussed modern approaches to solving scientific and applied problems, as well as the prospects for the practical implementation of innovative technological solutions.
An important component of the conference program was the round table «From scientific research to technological solutions: cooperation between science, education and industry in the field of radio engineering, telecommunications and information technologies», which took place on October 22. The event was organized with the participation of the Center of Excellence in Synergy of Communications, Radar and Autonomous Systems of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The round table became a platform for professional dialogue between scientists, educators, representatives of industrial enterprises, employers and partner organizations. The participants discussed the prospects for the development of scientific and technical cooperation, the possibilities of implementing joint research and innovation projects, as well as ways to implement the results of scientific research into practical activities.
Special attention was paid to the issues of training highly qualified specialists. Representatives of the industry and the educational community expressed proposals and recommendations for updating educational programs taking into account modern technological trends, current labor market needs, and requirements for graduates’ professional competencies.
Based on the results of the roundtable, the participants formed a resolution outlining promising areas for further cooperation between science, education, and industry, including the development of joint research and innovation initiatives, improving specialist training, expanding partnerships, and popularizing the results of scientific activity.
The XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference has become an important event for the scientific community, contributing to the strengthening of professional ties, international exchange of experience and the development of cooperation between science, education and industry. Such events create new opportunities for joint research, practical implementation of innovations and training of specialists capable of responding to modern technological challenges.
