Internationalization of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University
One of the strategic goals of the development of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic is the internationalization of the university, the purpose of which is to consolidate its status as a higher education institution with high standards of quality of education and science, as well as to enter the group of leading polytechnic universities in the world.
The project of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» «Internationalization at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University: development strategy in today’s conditions» passed the competitive selection and now our team is participating in the training course «Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2020-2024»
This training course was developed by the International Office of the University of Hanover. Leibniz University (LUH, Germany) within the framework of the DAAD program «Support for the internationalisation of Ukrainian higher education institutions — continuing education programmes for administrators at Ukrainian higher education institutions in education and academic management (2019–2024)».
The training course lasts from January to October 2024 and consists of online seminars, mentoring sessions, regular individual project work, networking meetings, as well as mandatory attendance of 1 face-to-face seminar at the Leibniz University of Hannover. The goal of the course is to provide professional support to higher education managers responsible for coordinating the international activities of their universities.
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University is represented at this course by Alina Kazurova, Head of the Center for Internationalization and International Cooperation, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Drive and Automation of Industrial Plants.
