Guest meeting with psychologist of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Ilya Borodovka
The Department of Psychology of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University invites everyone to a guest meeting-dialogue with the psychologist of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Illia Borodovka (psychologist, head of the psychological support department of the Center for Supporting the Activities of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, major of the civil defense service).
The guest meeting will take place in an online format as part of the study of the academic discipline «Psychological Assistance in Emergency Situations» by first-year undergraduate psychology students.
A dialogue is planned with an experienced psychologist from the State Emergency Service, who has been helping victims of Russian shelling and relatives of the deceased cope with pain and stress for many years.
Illia Borodovko is one of the first to arrive at the sites of Russian strikes to support the victims. So psychology students will be able to learn about the peculiarities and difficulties of the work of a psychologist after the shelling directly from a practitioner in this field.
