Meeting with the student body of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University
On April 10, 2013, a scheduled meeting of the head of the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU, Andriy Ivanchenko, with the student body of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University was held.
One of the intended goals of the meeting was to inform the general public of student youth through the student body of the University about the implementation of youth policy in the Zaporizhzhia region, and to present the activities of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Council.
The meeting lasted more than an hour and a half. In a friendly atmosphere, issues of activating youth policy in the Zaporizhzhia region were discussed, the main programs currently being implemented in our region were considered, and an initiative was expressed to hold events to create a «solid foundation» for further solidarity relations between students in the region.
The meeting included a detailed dialogue, in which the students of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University played an important role. Activists made their suggestions, shared their concerns, and asked questions about youth.
As a result of the meeting with future teachers, further actions and steps were developed towards solving current problems.
During the debates, an understanding emerged about the ignorance of a large number of students about their rights, the problem of interuniversity student communication, and problems in the information work of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Council.
The website of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Youth Council was presented as an information platform for youth district councils, student organizations, public youth organizations, and simply active youth of the region. This approach is the most effective for creating a channel of constant communication, rapid informing of the general public, and exchange of experience among youth organizations.
Such meetings are planned to be implemented in all universities and districts of the Zaporizhzhia region.
