Meeting with the winners of the European Taekwondo Championship

On August 30, the rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Greshta, met with students of the FEU-913 group, Manenkov Maksym and Krush Diana, who took part in the European Taekwondo Championship (World Taekwondo Federation) in Tallinn on August 24-26, 2023. They were also joined by their coach Andriy Yakovlev and the director of the School of Higher Sports Mastery Oleksiy Gatsuley.

A pupil of the Zaporizhzhia ShVSM and the Motor Sich Sports Club of the Ukrainian SSR, Manenkov Maksym, in the weight category up to 51 kg among juniors, held 5 fights and became the European Champion among juniors.

A pupil of the Zaporizhzhia ShVSM and the Motor Sich Sports Club of the Ukrainian SSR, Krush Diana, in the weight category up to 57 kg among women, held 4 fights and won silver at the European Championship. Diana also fulfilled the standard of «Master of Sports of International Class».
