Meeting with the European Network SDSN Europe and SDSN Black Sea
On March 30, an online meeting with the European Network SDSN Europe and SDSN Black Sea was held within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN).
To support the restoration of universities and cities in Ukraine, the aforementioned networks offer to provide support to Ukrainian universities and students of higher education institutions.
The Rector of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, Viktor Greshta, presented the university as a powerful institution of higher education with a highly professional scientific and pedagogical staff, multidisciplinary scientific interests, and innovative learning technologies. Today, internationalization is one of the priority areas of the university’s development strategy, with active development of partnership relations with universities and scientific institutions of European countries.
During the meeting, the following were discussed:
- financing of academic exchanges, scientific projects, publications in scientific publications indexed in the scientometric databases «Scopus» and «Web of Science»
- restoration of damaged infrastructure of Ukrainian universities
- introduction of European standards of higher education
- involvement in European institutions
- assistance in the preparation of joint projects under the Erasmus+ program
Together with Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, the rectors and heads of structural divisions of leading universities of Ukraine joined the discussion of issues related to the implementation of the project: Kyiv Ihor Sikorsky, National Aviation University, Poltava Polytechnic named after Yurii Kondratyuk, National Technical University «Dnipro Polytechnic», National University «Chernihiv Polytechnic», State University «Zhytomyr Polytechnic», Kremenchuk National University named after Mykhailo Ostrohradsky, National University «Odesa Polytechnic», Odessa State Ecological University.
