ZNTU helps orphans
On February 22, the Trade Union Committee of students of the technical university, without betraying its traditions, gave happiness to orphans.
The student union of the university has repeatedly held an action to collect things and toys for children with disabilities and orphans. And when everything was ready, several dozen warm and summer things were donated to the Zaporizhzhia orphanage.
The Zaporizhzhia orphanage is a social medical institution for permanent residence of children, boys from 4 to 18 years old with mental retardation. The causes of mental retardation can be birth injuries, Down syndrome, epilepsy, conflict of Rh factors of parents, intracranial pressure, etc.
As it turned out, the gift was very appropriate and caused a lot of positive emotions. But the surprise was not only for children. The boarding school students welcomed us with a concert program dedicated to Men’s Day. The children gave jazz at the concert! Such a grandiose vocal and dance show has never been seen even at the main show in the country.
The representatives of the «machine» are known and loved, and are looking forward to more. The children expressed their verbal gratitude to all those whose things they received.
Our students have proven once again that there is a place for such virtues as kindness or compassion in our souls. Therefore, let’s not forget that there are people in society who need your help. We can change the world for the better – so let’s use this opportunity!
