Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic develops international relations
On November 8, representatives of the British non-corporate organization «Casus Pax» headed by one of the founders and director, Dr. Holly Tann, visited Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University.
The main activity of their association is the collection, transportation and delivery of material resources according to the predetermined needs of various organizations in a way that alleviates the pressure on the unstable logistics network.
The team of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic, led by the rector Viktor Greshta, discussed important issues regarding the development of cooperation with the «Casus Pax» team.
Among them:
- Establishing connections between UK universities and Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
- scientific cooperation, in particular the prospects for the use of green energy, materials science in the medical field and other areas
- development of the Children’s and Youth Scientific University and creation of new laboratories on its basis
- educational activity: conducting open lectures and educational projects
An important aspect of the discussion was the security situation at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University: the condition of the bomb shelter and the urgent needs for its equipment.
Now our friends are waiting for specific proposals regarding the development and renewal of the university, because they will be able to act as mediators in ensuring international support.
