Launch of educational activities in the specialty 272 «Aviation Transport» at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic
Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University is pleased to announce that we are expanding educational activities in response to public demand, taking into account the urgent needs of today in pilots and aircraft operation specialists.
According to the results of the on-site examination of the expert group, by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 03.07.2023 No. 278-l, educational activities in the specialty 272 «Aviation Transport» were licensed. This happened thanks to the work of our teachers and the comprehensive support of one of the main stakeholders of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University – PJSC «Motor Sich».
Our university will provide the opportunity to obtain the profession of a pilot in a full cycle, namely theoretical, simulator and flight training, which will be provided together with PJSC «Motor Sich» both by state order and on a contractual basis.
Starting from the 2024/25 academic year, our university will conduct the first recruitment for the educational program «Flight Operation of Aircraft». In the future, it is planned to implement graduated training of specialists together with the Zaporizhzhia Aviation Vocational College named after O.G. Ivchenko. We are confident that this will be a new round of development of the aviation industry! Students will be able to receive highly qualified training in the field of aircraft operation. They will study the theoretical foundations of air transport, safety systems, aircraft maintenance and repair, as well as undergo practical training on simulators and real aircraft. The training will be conducted by qualified teachers and experts from the aviation industry, which will help students understand the complex aspects of this profession.
Aircraft flight operations are an important industry that ensures the safety and efficiency of air transport. Successful licensing of educational activities for training specialists in regulated specialty 272 «Aviation Transport» testifies to the recognition of NU «Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic» as a leading institution of higher education.
