Internship abroad
On August 11, the Canadian organization Mitacs began recruiting students to participate in the Mitacs Globalink Research Internship in 2023.
The organization invites 3rd-year full-time students of Ukrainian universities in various educational specialties (engineering, technical, mathematical, humanities and social sciences) to participate in Canada’s Mitacs Globalink Research Internship Program for Ukraine, which will last 12 weeks at one of the Canadian universities.
The Mitacs Globalink Research Internship program includes:
- work on a joint project with a professor from a Canadian university (taking into account the student’s scientific interests, knowledge and previous experience);
- flight on the «Ukraine-Canada» route and «Canada-Ukraine»;
- transfer from the airport to the place of residence;
- scholarship for housing and meals;
- medical insurance;
- enrollment for the internship period at a Canadian university;
- support from student mentors at a Canadian university;
- opportunity to attend events, workshops, and professional development seminars;
- certificate confirming completion of the Globalink Research Internship program.
To participate in the Globalink Research Internship program, students submit the following documents:
- Online application for participation in the program.
- CV with a description of scientific interests (template).
- Letter of recommendation from a professor or scientific supervisor with a description of research experience and scientific interests (instructions).
- Excerpt from the university with grades (confirmation of the average academic score above 80%).
The deadline for submitting applications is September 22, 2022. Detailed requirements and instructions for filling out documents are posted on the Mitacsua website.org
