XIV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference

The XIV All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference «Southern Ukraine in the Conditions of Global Socio-Cultural Transformations: Issues of Cultural, Ethno-Religious, Ethnic and National-Civic Identity» was held

The conference, dedicated to the study of ethno-cultural processes in Southern Ukraine, was traditionally organized by the Department of Ukrainian Studies and ZMP of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic.

This year, representatives of the Institute of Political and Ethno-National Studies named after I.F. Kuras of the NAS of Ukraine, the National Reserve «Khortytsia», the Kyiv University named after Borys Grinchenko, Zaporizhzhia National University.

The reports are focused on the search and development of new theoretical approaches to the implementation of state ethno-policy. All of them are united by a common message: among the priority tasks of such a policy should be the protection of linguistic, ethno-cultural, religious and other rights, freedoms and values ​​of citizens living in the Ukrainian territories temporarily occupied by Russia, as well as internally displaced persons.

We thank everyone who took part in the work of the 14th conference. Such meetings provide an opportunity for historians, sociologists, philosophers, philologists, political scientists and local historians to familiarize the general public with the diversity of ethnic cultures living in Ukraine, and allow preserving and renewing creative ties between scientists of different generations, scientific schools and regions of Ukraine.
