All-Ukrainian Student Forum «Youth for Ukraine. Ukraine for Youth»
On November 15-16, the All-Ukrainian Student Forum «Youth for Ukraine. Ukraine — for Youth«, which brought together more than 70 representatives of student trade union organizations of the country’s leading higher education institutions.
The organizer of the event is the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine with the support of Education International, the European Committee of Education Trade Unions and the NGO »Labor Initiatives”.
The forum was attended by the head of the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students, Postgraduate Students and Doctoral Students of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University Maryna Zinchenko.
The event was attended by representatives of relevant ministries, scientists, foreign guests — heads of the largest trade union associations from Europe and the USA, representatives of national institutions and authorities.
During the panel discussions, a number of issues were discussed that are currently the most embarrassing for student youth — work during the war (study, volunteering), scholarship provision, reform of educational legislation, labor market and employment prospects, vision and role of youth in the reconstruction of post-war Ukraine.
