In accordance with the plan of scientific and technical activities of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University for 2021, the Department of Physical Culture, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports prepared and held on 12-14.10.2021 the All-Ukrainian Internet Conference «Sports and Physical Education in Higher Education Institutions. Present and Future».

Distance learning and the general conditions of today’s socio-economic life place high demands on the professional qualities of young specialists. The lack of special professional endurance, good health and the ability to withstand stressful situations of various origins call into question the competitiveness of future specialists in difficult market conditions. Based on this, one of the tasks of this online conference is to help draw attention to such an important aspect of the process of training specialists as physical education and to its tasks and features at the current stage.
