Presentation of certificates to participants of online courses from the University of Yamanashi
In April 2022, IT courses were offered by the Japanese government as part of assistance to Ukraine. Students of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University had the opportunity to study remotely at the Japanese University of Yamanashi for two months.
On July 19, the President of the University of Yamanashi, Ph. D. Shinji Shimada, congratulated the students of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic on the successful completion of their studies. The results of the courses will be taken into account for students within the framework of academic mobility.
Certificates of specialized courses were received by students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology – Andriy Didenko and Kostyantyn Chichuk.
The solemn award ceremony was attended by the rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic – Viktor Greshta, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and international activities – Valerii Naumyk, advisor to the rector – Serhii Belikov and director of the CIDECS center – Dmytro Pavlenko.
Viktor Greshta thanked the government of Japan and personally the president of the Yamanashi University Ph. D. Shinji Shimada for supporting the academic community of Ukraine, providing free access to specialized IT courses and expressed hope for further expansion of cooperation between Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University and Japanese universities within the framework of academic and scientific cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, aircraft engine construction and economic and humanitarian relations.
