Volunteer movement at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic

The Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University continues to actively engage in volunteer work, which began on the first day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.

The university has an internal academic mobility program, according to which students from universities located in the occupied territories can continue their studies at the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University. We are engaged in helping internally displaced persons: we accommodate them in university dormitories, provide basic necessities, and distribute food kits. During the entire period of the full-scale war, more than 1,500 people (almost 200 of them children) found temporary shelter in the university dormitories, and their number is increasing every day.

Thanks to the NGO «Zaporizhzhia. Platform of Joint Actions», we provided humanitarian assistance to university employees in need and internally displaced persons who found shelter in the dormitories of our university. The assistance provided is extremely necessary and useful.

Students and graduates are joining the volunteer movement, helping with unloading products, weaving camouflage nets, and distributing humanitarian aid. We invite all active people to join the movement for our speedy victory!
